Dear Colleagues
Thank you very much for coming from over 100 countries to participate in the Joint Congress of the European Society of Ophthalmology (SOE) and the American Society of Ophthalmology (AAO) in Geneva a few weeks ago.
It was a very stimulating and rewarding joint congress. The scientific content was outstanding. There were four packed Key-Note lectures and a special session of the CATT results. The members of the Scientific Programme Committee, the subspecialty societies and the supranational ophthalmic organisations had put together an excellent Scientific Programme and we are very grateful to them.
As healthcare systems change, SOE must become more critical than ever. The SOE is looking forward to input from you all, so that together we can realise this goal. I would greatly appreciate your continuous support of the SOE in the years to come.
We are looking forward to SOE 2013 in Copenhagen, Denmark 8-11 June 2013 and SOE 2015 in Vienna 6-9 June 2015. Hope to see you in Copenhagen and Vienna.
