Courses are now free of charge

The registration fees of the Joint Congress of SOE/AAO 2011 have purposely been kept at a reasonable level, despite the steep rise in costs seen in the recent years. We are happy to inform you that courses are free of charge. Please register early to secure your place. EUPO is a two day course for which there will be a charge. Read and follow the registration and payment instructions carefully before registering.

** Young Eastern European Residents and Ophthalmologists who are under the age of 40 and have submitted an abstract pay a reduced fee if they register and pay before 28 February, 2011. A copy of ID must be submitted with registration. Please forward this by email to soe2011.registration@congrex.com or by fax +46 8 661 9125, attention SOE/AAO 2011. If the abstract is not accepted, the registration fee is refundable. The following countries are considered Eastern European: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, The Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldavia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.

The Swiss VAT 8% is included in the registration fees. All registration fees are in Euro (€).

Confirmation of Registration

Confirmation will be sent via email. Registration for events that are included in the registration fee will only be confirmed if requested when registering. Please note that registration for the various tours and events will be confirmed upon payment on a “first come, first served” basis, and numbers are restricted. Please follow the payment instructions for all fees involved, see Payment Information.

The Registration Fee for Accompanying Persons Includes

• Welcome Reception
• Geneva City Tour and Visit to Patek Philipp Museum on 3 June OR 4 June
• Admission to the Exhibition

Please note that the registered accompanying person’s fee does not include admission to the scientific sessions, courses or the Congress documentation.

Changes in Registrations

Should you be unable to attend, you may be substituted by a colleague. An administrative fee of Euro (€) 75 will then be charged. The name change must be made in writing and sent to soe2011.registration@congrex.com

Group Registrations

Group registrations will be offered to groups of 12 persons or more. Before the start of the Congress, appointments for pickup of the Congress material can be made for preregistered groups. Please contact Congrex Sweden AB for further information: soe2011.registration@congrex.com

Press

Fully accredited Trade Press Members are invited to attend the SOE/AAO 2011 Congress. Please note that Industry staff and their communication agents are not eligible for press registration. Registrations as an accredited press member is complimentary. To apply for press registration, send an e-mail soe2011.registration@congrex.com with the following information:

• A photocopy of your valid Press ID
• Name and web address of the journal you are working for
• The reason for attending SOE/AAO 2011
